We’ve been finalizing our final portfolios for the semester. As I continued with my work I found a growing interest in making connections with art history. As per usual I stayed with themes of my original concept making sure to add links to nature often as possible. It was a nice turn of events after portfolio review to find my work could allow for two separate bodies of focus. Some of the final images are considered details of the human anatomy. Which could lead to a much farther pushed expression of my interest beyond a portrait style reminiscent of Dutch Masters in painting. I’m excited to see what will come.
